Having spent more years working across virtually every video game magazine known to man – including Official Nintendo, Mean Machines, PlayStation Plus and Future’s Official PlayStation and PlayStation 2 titles, Steve Merrett decided enough was enough and turned to PR in 2001.
Joining the highly-respected Rocket Media, Steve initially worked with mainstream press on behalf of Konami before eventually taking on all elements of its PR. After the sad demise of Rocket, Steve joined the talented Lunch PR team, working alongside them on several high-profile launches. Following 18 very enjoyable months with Lunch, Steve decided to try his luck on his own and Voltage PR was formed in February 2005.
At Voltage, Steve looks after every aspect of Konami PR – including specialist, lifestyle, national and regional press, not to mention online and broadcast elements.
